Cherry Cottage is in the village of Boat of Garten, the unspoilt jewel in the crown of the Spey Valley. The cottage is in a quiet road yet is within 200 yards of one of the finest golf courses in the Highlands, tennis courts and the 3 star Boat Hotel and the River Spey.

SPEYSIDE (or more correctly - Strathspey)

This highland valley overlooked by the formidable Cairngorm Mountains is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Lochs, rivers, mountains and forests combine to give scenery that takes your breath away. Recent road improvements mean you are only 2-3 hours away from Edinburgh or Glasgow, and it is an ideal base for exploring other parts of the Highlands.

The Cottage

Cherry cottage is a linked bungalow built in 1988 to a high standard with top rate insulation and double glazing, white meter night storage heating and a wood burning stove in the lounge ensure warmth on the coldest highland night (logs available in the village). The extensive use of pine furnishings give it character, while all mod cons ensure an easy life. Driveway parking for 2 cars, further parking on road.

  One hand and one bath towel supplied per person.

• Bedroom 1

  Double bed with duvet pillows and all necessary linen. Fitted wardrobe.

• Bedroom 2

  2 pine bunk beds duvets and pillows and necessary linen (hot water tank in cupboard).

Pets are welcome but must be kept under strict control.

By choice there is no telephone - the nearest public telephone is at the Post Office on the main street or in the Boat Hotel
