Annual Auction Sale is another great success!

Boat of Garten Community Hall would like to send a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone involved in this year’s Auction Sale – volunteers, donors and buyers alike. This year’s final figure raised for the Community Hall was £3,788.94!!

Pre-auction chatting revealed that the auction is now in its 33rd or 34th year, and despite times of Buy, Sell, Swap, upcycling, and eBay, it’s still one of our most profitable fundraisers!

One day, a stranger, Arnaud, walks into her life and before long they decide to present him to the world as her long-lost husband – returned. But, is it possible that it really is her husband?

Inspired by the true story of Martin Guerre, The Return is a gripping play about the mystery of identity and the survival instinct, and asks whether we can ever truly know even those we love the best.
