Boat of Garten Book Day on 1 September offers a full day of talks, meet the author sessions, workshops, story telling, a book shop and a café.

Award-winning authors of fiction and non-fiction, storytellers, an illustrator and creative writing students are taking part in the day - so there’ll be something here for everyone, whether or not you’re a keen reader!

Some of the sessions are aimed specifically at young adults - and parents, teachers and other people who work with this age group. Secondary school age youngsters will be admitted free to these events. All the authors are extremely entertaining speakers - so drop in to hear them.

Number for the workshops are limited, so please book early!
