Boat of Garten Christmas Treat Commitee

The Christmas Treat Committee was formed in 1938 to provide a Christmas Party, complete with entertainment, games and a present-bearing Santa, for all babies and children up to Primary 7 age. The party is held in the Public Hall just before Christmas each year.

In recent years, the party has been for children up to Primary 3 age, with those in Primary 4 to primary 7 being taken on an outing, for example to Rollerball.

The 100 club provides much of the funds, with the balance being raised from two or three community events throughout the year, such as Bingo Teas and Karaoke nights.
