Our new Community Hall, built in 2007, is an ideal environmentally friendly venue in a delightful Highland village for your meetings, seminars, conferences, parties, weddings, exhibitions and arts performances.
The Hall is in a quiet location next to woodland, yet is easily accessible from the A9 and A95. The nearest railway station is in Aviemore, a distance of six miles.

The Hall has a wide variety of rooms, all of which have broadband wireless connection, and include:

MAIN HALL, lined with natural wood for warmth and excellent acoustics, with seating for well over 200 people, 400 at a standing reception, but equally good for smaller groups that require more individual seating arrangements. There is a curtained stage area; flexible staging and seating; a screen, laptop and digital projector; comprehensive stage lighting and sound system.
LOUNGE, for meetings for up to 60 people, and also a popular room for serving lunches and suppers, with an attractive outlook to Deshar woods. Red squirrels and a variety of birds are attracted to the feeders just outside the windows.
FOYER, a welcoming reception area that can also be very attractively set-up, Bistro-style, for lunches and other refreshments.
COMMITTEE ROOM AND ART ROOM, two smaller rooms for groups up to 20 people. The Art Room has a sink and is suitable for a range of practical workshops.
EXHIBITION/IT ROOM, a very attractive room, leading off the Foyer, and built to national museum lighting and temperature control standards, that can be used for computer-based workshops and classes for up to 12 stations.

Rooms can be hired individually, or you can opt for exclusive use of the whole building which gives you access to up to eight break-out rooms.

There is a well-equipped kitchen, and we will be pleased to discuss your catering requirements with you.

There is a good-sized car park with a capacity of 50 cars.
