The Post Office closes on Thursday and Saturday afternoons.

Refuse Collection

Wheely bins are emptied on Mondays or Wednesdays, depending on the location within the village. For information call 01479 811990.

The Boat of Garten Post Office offers access to certain facilities of the Co-Op Bank, Alliance & Leicester, Lloyds TSB, the Clydesdale Bank and the Bank of Ireland as well as the Internet facilities Smile and Cahoot. The Post office also has a cash machine.

Locally the Bank of Scotland is in Aviemore (01479 810288) and Grantown (01479 872517). The Royal Bank of Scotland has a branch in Aviemore (01479 812623) and Grantown (01479 872768) and its Mobile Bank visits the village on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 3 - 4.00 pm.
